Part of my ancestry is German Bohemian, part is Bavarian and part is from the Rhineland area near Luxembourg and France. I have not been able to find much about the customs of Bohemia, so your posts are a treasure, the type of genealogy/family history that is rare to find. So glad your are writing this in English and about customs as well as genealogy tips.Kathy, the Single-minded Offshoothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07887312817720774699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-867672851903497494.post-88991076158895283772012-06-11T21:58:36.561-07:002012-06-11T21:58:36.561-07:00I love your posts! This one is really interesting, and helps explain an entry I found recently for one of my people. He fell and died while building a house, and the priest wrote extra about him, that he was a faithful Catholic and had JUST been to communion/confession a few days prior to his death. Even though he had not had last rites, his soul was in good shape. :)Rose Greenhttp://olmue.livejournal.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-867672851903497494.post-72280098234694725852012-06-11T07:51:11.476-07:002012-06-11T07:51:11.476-07:00Thanks for sharing. Loved reading that certain customs are universal.Tracing Ancestors, an a3Genealogy Partnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15479631946579184004noreply@blogger.com
