Marriage notes - part I, German notes

I translated a marriage record today for one client from U.S. and it brought me to idea writing about notes by the marriage records - information about marriage banns, birth certificates or church dispensations. Most people who are searching for family history in Bohemia or Moravia are going to find information about banns in marriage records, but it's often hard to translate and therefor often omitted. So - what could be written there and how to handle such notes?

Immigrants from Kuželov, Moravia

Kuželov is located in the area of Bílé Karpaty (White Carpathians) near borders between Moravia and Slovakia (formerly Upper Hungary). It always was poor region and many people left this area to search for better life across the sea. And sometimes, in some cases, there are notes about their new life in America in the registries. This blog post brings list of those who have such note and were born between 1880 and 1892.

Occupation dictionary (updated)

There are tens of occupations mentioned in Czech registries. I have prepared a list of those most common occupations in four languages, Czech, German, Latin and English.
