Have you heard? There's going to be the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International Conference in Pittsburgh in October 2017.
And you know what? I'll be one of the speakers!
I will have two lectures - After the Roof - Surname Changes in the Czech Past and Life in Bohemia and Moravia in the 18th Century - and one workshop which will take place two times - Reading Kurrent.
So - see you there!
Terrific! Will have to do my best to attend.
ReplyDeleteOh, very cool! That is a great organization. Wish I was closer to Pittsburgh and could go. They sound like great topics!
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend. What will be the cost?
ReplyDeleteExcellent. After reading your blog on "after the roof" I discovered the first example of a surname change in my family tree. Still trying to sort out the details. Thank you for your useful and practical blog. It helps greatly.
ReplyDeleteThis is one I will make plans for! Seeing you will be such a treat. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteI hope to make it. Never been to Pennsylvania.
ReplyDeleteNice one! Have fun.
ReplyDeleteFor info, check out the cgsi.org website. "Reading Kurrent" would be SO helpful! Looking forward to the conference!
