  1. Fantastic list. I had just sent a note to Michal Razus in Presov saying that any information from town chroniclers would be welcome in the Nase rodina publication. Thanks for sharing your find on this blog.

  2. Wow! Fantastic list, and this praise from someone who has NO ancestors from the parish (as of yet)! (smiley face) A monumental effort! I also learned so much from you at the CGSI Conference in Pittsburgh last October 2017. Thank you.- Gay Kohl

  3. Dobrý den, jen technická: mám Polodnovi v předcích a jméno je často komolené a "verzované", správné se ovšem zdá Polodna/Polodnová. A pod tím jménem vystupují i v současnosti. Moc díky za to, co děláte a co sdílíte.

  4. This is wonderful. I recognize so many family names. Most Cleveland Czechs in the 19th century came from Pisek and Tabor counties.

  5. Thank you, Blanka! I am just seeing your site for the first time today! What an amazing job you have done! I only recently found out my relatives were from Pisek and have yet to explore your great site more thoroughly! By chance, was there a German port more preferred by the people of this area? I've yet to start my ship manifest search...I have a feeling that will take a while!
    Thank again,
    Pamela
